About The Client

France based Biobulle is an organic store group established in Nice. It provides beautiful, bright stores which offer, amongst others: ranges of fresh products, delicatessen, cosmetics, baby items, bulk products (seeds or dried fruit), frozen food, food supplements and cleaning products.

Biobulle was one of the first retailers to offer these organic, ecologically friendly, healthy products and its success has resulted in the brand expansion into multiple sites in France.

The Project

In 2016 Biobulle were looking to build a clean, attractive, bright and welcoming space for customers. Any shop fittings had to reflect the brand values and provide a warm inviting feel to the space with natural colours and accessories.

With a huge range of produce they were looking for store solutions that would provide traditional shop shelving for packaged goods, bottles and boxes. They wanted custom store solutions for their fruit and vegetables together with curved units to enhance the space.

Retail store shelves needed to consist of both wall and gondolas and encompass extra storage so excess stock could be hidden away as required. They were also looking for strong wall units suitable for the implementation of zero package solutions such as gravity dispensers and scoop bins.

The Solution

CAEM provided a range of its M25 shop shelving in regular and four post varieties. Several custom units were also manufactured to the exact needs of the customer.

Tall wall and shop gondola units were installed to provide huge amounts of merchandising space. Integrated storage drawers were installed to provide further discrete storage. The tall units also had areas for the installation of POS materials.

The four post system not only provides huge amounts of strong storage but also allows different areas of merchandise to be effectively differentiated. Biobulle opted for both a Brown finish and Timber style store shelves combined with real timber accents to bring more warmth and a more natural feel to the space.

The Result

The result is a warm inviting retail store that moves away from traditional plain white or cream shop shelving. The use of timber effect shelves complements the brown powder coat, giving a natural look and feel whilst retaining strength and longevity.

The Fruit and Veg display offerings keep the items cool and fresh while displaying them effectively. Further custom shop fittings blend with the traditional shop shelving and give the store an individual look and feel that makes it instantly recognisable.

Since its inception Biobulle has experienced a huge interest in its offerings, so much so that it has now expanded into other stores and locations.
